Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier with Spookies. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. For your convenience a record of the number of items and accumulated cost is shown in the Quick Cart shown on each page towards the top right corner. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit and debit card payment through our Payment Service Provider (PSP), Paypal. Payment is very simple, safe and secure - look for the padlock symbol at the bottom of your screen and/or your address bar. When you are ready to make your purchase simply click on the "Checkout" link shown to the right of the screen.
Prices on our website are displayed in UK Pounds Sterling (GBP) only. When ordering you will be charged in UK Pounds Sterling (GBP). We do not accept orders anywhere outside the United Kingdom and will only ship to addresses within the United Kingdom. Please ensure that you use your correct postcode when inputting details of your delivery address.
Please note we do not accept American Express.
Upon completion of you order and submission of secure payment details you will receive confirmation of your order by automated email. When you receive the automated email response, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
Shipping And Handling Shipping costs will vary depending on the size and weight of your order when packaged. To simplify the price you pay, orders are categorised into the following postage bands and are determined by the total order value.

The weight of the item delivered shall determine whether Spookies will use Royal Mail First Class or Standard Parcel Service or Courier Service to deliver your order.
All orders with a total order value of £75 or more are Free Postage & Packing.
Customers should receive their order within 5 working days from the date of the original purchase, unless notified otherwise (please refer to notes on back orders). |
| Delivery Schedule Subject to stock we aim to process your order the next working day (please refer to notes on back orders). It is anticipated that you will receive your delivery within 2 - 5 working days. We will advise you by email when your order has been despatched. |
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. For multiple item orders where only a partial order can be delivered we shall endeavour to deliver a complete order if the back order can be despatched to us within a reasonable time (5 days). Should back orders take longer than 5 working days to arrive with us then a partial order shall be despatched to you and the outstanding items sent when available under seperate cover and at no extra cost to you.
Please note that back orders placed for the Chakra Lace range will take more than 5 working days as this product is specially handmade and shipped from our supplier in Australia. Therefore this may take 14 - 21 days to receive your delivery. We will endeavour to do all we can to limit the delivery time and aim to despatch your order as soon as possible. Credit Card Security Spookies with the exception of American Express accepts all credit and debit cards online. Spookies.co.uk is a safe and secure shopping site which utilises the latest secure shopping protocols (SSL) linked in with Paypal. When the order is placed on our website the customer is directed to the Paypal secure server.

Unwanted Items : Returned items that are not damaged or faulty must be returned to us within 14 days of your purchase date. Items should be adequately packaged to prevent damage in transit. If on receipt of the returned items they have incurred damage during transit due to inadequate packaging then a refund will not be issued and the item will be returned to the customer. Upon receipt of the returned items with a valid returns explanation form, we shall issue a full refund for the items returned. If the returns explanation form is not received with the product we will not be able to issue the refund until we have received the returns explanation form. You also have the option to email the completed returns explanation form if you wish.
Please note that all customers are responsible for all postage charges incurred. Spookies do not offer a refund for the original shipping cost which is a service carried out on your behalf. You may be able to claim postage costs direct from Royal Mail if the item is damaged (see damaged items).
Damaged Items: Spookies check each individual order prior to their despatch to ensure that all items are undamaged before transfer to Royal Mail. Please note that if the items delivered by Royal Mail are damaged in transit prior to the customer receiving the goods then a claim can be made with Royal Mail in accordance with their terms and conditions.
